Holiday business hours here at Coincheck will be as follows.

Registering for and using Coincheck services

Coincheck and Coincheck Payment will operate as usual during the New Year holidays. Customers who have had their identity verification documents confirmed by December 25 will receive their address confirmation postcards by the end of the year. For customers who have their identity verification documents confirmed after 12/25, postcards will be sent out starting on January 5 in the order in which verifications are completed.

First date in 2018: 1/5/2018 (For customers who have their verification documents confirmed after the date listed above)

Final date in 2017: 12/25/2017 (For customers who have their verification documents confirmed by 12/24)
First date in 2018: 1/5/2018 (For customers who have their verification documents confirmed after the date listed above)

Deposits and Withdrawals from ATMS and Banks

For customers considering depositing money over the holidays, please be aware that each bank will have its own set of holiday business hours. Visit each bank’s home page for more information.

Depositing JPY
All deposits made through an ATM or bank which we are unable to confirm by 3 pm JST on 12/29/2017 will be added to customers’ accounts after 9 am JST on 1/4/2018.

Withdrawing JPY
We will do our best to process withdrawal requests made by 9 am JST on 12/29/2017 by the end of the year. However, requests that go above a bank’s limit for deposits or ones that run into other regulations or restrictions will be deposited in the new year. As stated in our our trading documents, barring unforeseen circumstances, all withdrawal requests are processed within two business days.

Payeasy payments maintenance and temporary suspension on quick deposits

Payeasy payments and quick deposits will be unavailable during the regular maintenance periods for the Payeasy payment center and the Japan Post Bank.

Period: 7:45 pm JST 1/1/2018 ~ 12:15 am JST 1/4/2018
Affected services: All Payeasy payment services will be unavailable.

Japan Post Bank maintenance
Period: 11:55 pm JST 12/31/2017 ~ 12:15 am JST 1/4/2018
Affected services: Payeasy payment services through the Japan Post Bank will be unavailable.

Customer support

Our customer support team will be on break from 12/30/2017 until 1/3/2018. Responses to inquiries made during that period will begin being sent out on January 4.
